Combinations
Pair a model-hosting service with a gateway, leave either side as None, and see what the combination can do. Hover a cell for why that answer won. The matrix scores the same products.
Merge semantics are per capability, not one blanket rule.
research/capabilities.json tags every capability with a
combineRule:
either (any half's yes carries the combo),
gateway_wins (the gateway half is authoritative; a MaaS yes
does not rescue a gateway no),
maas_wins (the mirror),
both_required (both halves must deliver; either half's no
forces the combo to no). n/a on one half hands the read to
the other; a missing cell on a selected half reads as unknown
(not "not selected"), so both_required can't silently promote
the other half's yes. See
